Beginner workshops are perfect for you to grab your friends, grab a drink and come make tiny trees! We’re bringing the awesome art of bonsai out of the hedged in gardens and into the streets! Or at least into your favorite bars/breweries/pubs. Bonsai Bar is a night of fun you don’t want to miss. Learn the fundamental skills and techniques behind the art of bonsai while enjoying a night out with friends! Our teachers will introduce core concepts and guide your experience as you pot, prune, and design your very own bonsai tree!

Austin Creative Reuse facilitators will be happy to help with ideas for a fun craft for you and/or your group. You're also welcome to bring your own project(s) to work on from home!

Bring your machine and supplies needed for your sewing project & get expert advice while you sew! Bring a friend, grab a beer and have fun! Please bring your own thread and fabric. Please bring the pattern or instructions you are working from. Machine rental is available if you contact organizers.

We are teaming up with the amazing people at Austin Wildlife Rescue for a fundraiser trivia night (again).

The trivia will be wildlife and nature themed with 3 rounds of 10 questions! Winner will receive a prize form us!

Austin Beerworks will be donated a $1 from every beer sold that day back to Austin Wild Rescue!

Oh, and there might be some special guests appearances from AWR's animal ambassadors.

Join TexLUG and Austin Beerworks for lunch at the Sprinkle Valley taproom for a Lego Event. TexLUG Austin will be displaying some of the custom LEGO models created by our members, and we'll have LEGO bricks for kids (and adults) to play with.

TexLUG: Austin is a group of LEGO^® fans in the greater Austin area, we host regular meetings and displays. We welcome members of all ages and builders of all skill levels. We do ask that those under 18 be accompanied by an adult at all times.
