Once upon a time, we had a dumb idea. We decided to brew a beer so clean, so pristine, so perfect that it would take 8 weeks to complete (some of those hazy beers the kids love to take pictures of take less than 2 weeks).
We knew such a dumb idea needed a dumb name, so we wanted to name it after the dumbest people we know - Team $uper Awesome. They agreed under one condition: the beer had to achieve what they never could - win competitions.
And so it did. Super Awesome Lager took home the 2017 Great American Beer Festival Gold Medal & the 2018 GABF Bronze Medal in the Light Lager category, beating the big guys at their own game. And now it's time to celebrate.
This party will feature the following FREE things: -FREE pink sprinkle donuts (while supplies last) -FREE can of Super Awesome to anyone wearing gold clothing -FREE body autographs from members of Team $uper Awesome -FREE live brewery Awesome-cross mini-bike race @ 4pm And there will be lots of stuff you can pay for, too.

The Rain Harvest: A Conservation + Fermentation Event The average water use per single-family residence in Texas is 246 gallons per day - that's a lot of water.
We’ve partnered with Innovative Water Solutions to raise awareness about water conservation and raffle some amazing upcycled rain barrels for you to get started taking steps in your own home or garden. We started by donating empty fruit puree barrels from our brewing operations, @rainwater.collection then turned them into fully functional rain barrels, and finally JR Custom Paint gave them a pretty paint job. Proceeds from this event will benefit @wellawareworld. Well Aware is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization providing innovative and sustainable solutions to water scarcity and contamination in East Africa.
512 Solar, Austin Water, Well Aware, & Innovative Water Solutions will be here to talk water over a beer (which is 95% water) from 1-5p. If you’ve ever wanted to know more about reducing your footprint or just lowering your water bill then it will be the perfect day to come and share a drink with us.
