We will be live streaming the awards ceremony for the Great American Beer Festival in our taproom. The ceremony kicks off at 11:00 AM and will last a couple of hours. We hope you'll join us for our annual celebration of the magical mingling of the Hill Country's German and Mexican cultures.
For $10, guests will receive a commemorative glass mug filled with the beer of their choice (while supplies last). We'll have about 20 beers available, including a few specialty tappings for the event:
- Wet Hop Pilsner - 6.2%ABV made with experimental ADHA 1940 hops
- Cerveza Obrero - 3.9%ABV house lagerbier
- Caguama - 7.9% Imperial Mexican-style Lager made w/ hominy and agave
Our food truck, ABW CAN-tina, will be serving a special menu:
Brunch (11am-2pm)
- Ich Bin Ein Berliner (I am a jelly doughnut) - House made doughnut filled with raspberry jam
- The Wurst Breakfast Burrito - Chopped bratwurst, scrambled egg, fries, pico de gallo, nacho cheese
All Day (11a-9p)
- Soft Pretzel - Warm soft pretzel served with wholegrain mustard
- The Maimibraten - Roasted pork, ham, swiss cheese, pickles, sauerkraut, wholegrain mustard on a pretzel bun
- Pepperwurst - Grilled pepperwurst, sauteed onions and bell peppers on a brioche sausage roll
- Hammer Fries - Large order of fries covered with Sauerbraten (German style pot roast), bacon, gravy, swiss cheese, pickled cabbage
- Fiesta Burger - Our special blend patty, pepper jack cheese, bacon, guacamole, red onion, lettuce, tomato, on a jalapeno cheddar bun.
Shirts are available for $20, which come with a free Oktoberfiesta enamel pin ($5 separately).
And Los Texas Wranglers will be serenading guests with Grammy-nominated Tejano from 1pm-6pm.
No tickets necessary, just show up ready for a good time.
